If you have experienced a lot of criticism as child or teen, been bullied at school or at work then the chances are you have developed a 'protective' way of thinking to keep you feeling safe. This may even be unconscious . These ways of thinking are commonly referred to as people pleasing, being over cautious, feeling not good enough, a failure or imposter syndrome, to name just a few. The downside or unintentional consequences of this is, that you just feel more anxious. The good news is this can be changed. I work, using psychological theory to help you understand yourself, why you do what you do and then make the changes you need.
I am using 21st century coaching strategies & technologies, by delivering more than just 1:1 individual coaching so that you can fit this more easily and accessibly into your life. We can measure progress in visible formats so you know what you are doing is making changes.

Who is self-esteem coaching for?
It is tackling those fears (sometimes we think they are truths about ourselves, but they are fears) we harbour about ourselves that then leads to self-limiting beliefs, that do what they say on the box, they limit what we can do, hold us back.
Self-esteem coaching helps you understand where those fears come from so that you can let go of the confusion you may feel about yourself. And answer the question, all my clients ask me, WHY am I like this.
Are you ready to let go of the fears around not being good enough, that you will fail and won't be able to cope with it. That people will find out you are not good at your job or a particular thing (Imposter Syndrome) that gets in the way of you living your life in the ways you want to.
I can help you live your life from a position of inner wisdom rather than be driven by and listening to anxiety. To live your life by what is important to you leading to a greater sense of fulfilment, contentment and happiness.
Who is self-esteem coaching for?
My greatest professional passion over the last 20 years has been to help people develop healthy self-esteem. Why? you might be thinking. It is because it creates the most profound change for my clients, that I have seen, in all the work I have done over the years.
I truly believe that we grow as a person throughout our whole lives. This means that it does not matter what age you are, you can learn to improve your self-esteem at any point in your life.
I work with adults and teenagers. There are ways to access free materials to get a feel of how I work, there will be self-study, affordable courses you can buy or you can book individual coaching with me as well. I have tried to create a practice that caters for all budgets.
I am developing programmes to support parents with their own self-esteem (let's face it, our kids test it) and a better understanding about how to get the best out of our kids using simple strategies. I can help you to identify what is currently getting in your way, why it does and where that comes from. We can answer your 'why' do I do that, why is this a problem for me.
We can identify your strengths (you have them even if you don't think you do!) and how we can build on them. More, we find ways to help you really believe in those strengths. Imagine what it would feel like to truly believe in yourself and your abilities. Instead of approaching life from a place of anxiety, we will tap into your innate wisdom (again, yes you do have it). We will learn what you are really good at and the things we need to work on and how. It is a proven formula that works, over and over again, if you are prepared to put the work in. I am not offering you a magical, no effort solution. I am offering tried and successfully tested strategies.
In working towards goals you will learn how to accept yourself, enjoy learning from things that don't go according to plan to build resilience and enhance problem solving rather than worrying. You will learn that it is ok to feel what you feel and how to manage that. You will learn how to look after yourself so that you can achieve more and enjoy the things you like more...no more guilt!
You will learn how to set boundaries and feel ok about it. You will learn how to talk to yourself in a way that gets you the best results from yourself. You will also be able to translate this to how you communicate with others to get the best out of them. Be that, family, kids, partners, work colleagues or friends.
You will also find out how to live a life that is consistent with the things that important to you, which leads to a greater sense of fulfilment. This is just a small list.
As human beings we have tricky minds. We are complex, with inextricable links between our physical, mental and emotional health. We are influenced by our history and life experiences. If we think holistically about ourselves from all these viewpoints, build awareness of how we tick and learn to manage our minds, we tend to flourish and what we can achieve can be limitless.
